Bodycote Testing Group, the worldwide testing and advisory business has been relaunched with a new dynamic name, identity and website. The company will be known as Exova. The creation of a new name and identity which reflect the company’s new direction, vision and values, has been prompted by the sale of the business by Bodycote plc last year.
Bodycote Testing Group, which provides testing and advisory services to the aerospace, energy, oil and gas, civil engineering, transportation, pharmaceutical, food and consumer products industries and has over 130 facilities in 25 countries, was acquired by the global private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier and Rice (CD&R), in October 2008.
The new name Exova and its accompanying contemporary graphics convey the company’s vision of being ‘the number one supplier of choice of testing and advisory services’. The new identity will be implemented through a phased roll out planned to all sites worldwide over the next few months, with the change over being complete by October 2009. Further information is available on the new website at www.exova.com.
Grant Rumbles, Chief Executive Officer of Bodycote Testing Group (now Exova) said:
“The extensive research undertaken among Bodycote Testing Group’s customers, suppliers and staff as part of the rebranding programme confirmed that we have a company to be proud of: a worldwide reputation for excellence coupled with many of the leading experts in their respective fields.
“Our new name Exova is fresh, crisp and progressive and is effective across the diverse sectors and many countries in which we work. The new logo with its modern typeface and electric contemporary colours is forward thinking, and we are delighted with the creative results that underline our innovative business.
“This is an exciting time for Bodycote Testing Group as it transforms into Exova. Despite the difficult trading environment, results from the first quarter are trending positively. As well as maintaining the excellent service customers expect, we are also diversifying into new areas and maximising our combined knowledge to our customers’ advantage. Our new name, identity and website are the starting point for a very promising future.”
