Bodycote would like to congratulate Dan McCurdy, who retired in June 2019 after 21 years of service, as this year’s recipient of the prestigious HTS George H. Bodeen Heat Treating Achievement Award. Dan received the award at a ceremony during this year’s AMS International Heat Treat Conference event that was held in Detroit on October 15-17, 2019.
Established in 1996, this award recognises distinguished and significant contributions to the field of heat treating through leadership, management, or engineering development of substantial commercial impact.
Dan was selected by his industry peers for his leadership in the advancement of commercial heat treatment and metal joining across North America and around the world.
