Bodycote plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Byron Williamson as Vice President, Global Marketing, Aerospace, Defence & Energy (ADE). In this role, Byron will be responsible for managing the marketing organization for Bodycote’s ADE business and will serve on the ADE Leadership Team.
Byron comes to Bodycote after a 19-year career in the power industry, for the last ten years with General Electric, in a variety of marketing and product management roles. Most recently Byron was the General Manager of a $220 million electrical products business based in Plainville, Connecticut.

Byron’s significant experience in one of our major market segments and his fundamental understanding of marketing and business strategy will be critical to our success as we continue expanding our global business into new areas such as surface technology and into emerging markets such as China, Mexico, and Eastern Europe.”
