Istanbul plant achieves aerospace approval

Bodycote’s plant in Beylikdüzü, Turkey, has been awarded aerospace approval from Korea Aerospace Industries. The plant, in the Istanbul region, has been serving the aerospace business for the last decade, achieving approvals from customers such as Sikorsky and Augusta.

Within the last three years, large aerospace companies such as Eaton, Pratt & Whitney and Korea Aerospace Industries have all visited the Beylikdüzü plant to view its capabilities. The plant is planning to achieve its first approval to AS 9100 by the end of the year and will then work towards Nadcap approval, further advancing its quality credentials for aerospace customers.
