Bodycote employee elected President of A3TS

Robert Moulin, Sales & Marketing Director for Western Europe, has been elected President of the French Association of Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment (A3TS), succeeding Alain Viola (SAFRAN Group).

Robert graduated from DEST CNAM / Lyon in 1975 and began his career with Thierry Dimier where he held various technical jobs. He managed several plants in France and abroad belonging to HIT Group and then became Managing Director of Vide Express. Since 2004 he has been the Sales & Marketing Director for Bodycote Western Europe.

The French Association of Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment (A3TS) has 730 members representing over 500 companies including heat treatment and surface engineering service providers, suppliers and processors of metals, suppliers of furnaces and accessories, suppliers of consumables, technical centres, schools, professional organisations and the press.

The A3TS arranges technical meetings and conferences and an annual heat treatment congress. Together with other European associations (AWT, AIM, SVW-ASTT, VWT, ASMET), the A3TS contributes to the promotion of heat treatment and surface engineering in Europe. The A3TS also operates a training organisation and publishes technical books.
